Numerous obstacles in life are designed to prevent you from fulfilling your purpose. Kereisia has faced multiple obstacles, and challenges such as grief, including the death of her father at the age of 13, battling glaucoma, a financial crisis, severe undermining from people who want to limit her, missed opportunities, witchcraft, and hardship. Her strength, however, lies in believing every word in Jeremiah 29:11, where God says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
The Bible presents God's word as principles that can be applied to one's life to experience its transformative power. It has the power to transform a person's life from undesirable to beneficial while healing the mind, soul, and body. It has the creative power to renew, resulting in a world of people who are more loving, forgiving, helpful, and understanding. Scripture references include Romans 12:1-2, 2 Corinthians 5:17, and Jeremiah 29:11.
Balancing your faith with business, career, relationships, and family is not always easy. Still, Kereisia, who has found herself in all roles, has demonstrated that it is possible with the right strategy and systems, which include creating a schedule, encouraging teamwork, communicating effectively, delegating, and organizing a support system.
Education is a powerful vehicle that will carry anyone from the place of poverty to prosperity. Kereisia has personally experienced the transformative power of education, which has changed her life. She had limited resources, but through faith, determination, and entrepreneurial skills, she overcame them and rose to a leadership position. At age 27, she earned a master's degree in business administration. She agrees with the saying of Benjamin Franklin "An investment in education gives the best returns." The best returns include opportunities for career advancement, personal fulfillment, promoting social change, equality, and economic development, bridging borders, and establishing a modern society. Education is a key to success.
Employees in a dynamic work environment require resilience, motivation, adaptability, productivity, and mental toughness to cope with changes and stress. Kereisia encountered various workplace challenges, including high-stress and competitive environments, conflicts, and crises. Her experience in the workplace is dynamic. One instance was when she was promoted to higher leadership roles, then demoted for no apparent reason, but was later promoted again due to my resilience and aptitude. Many of my colleagues spoke of her resilience and strength as she was able to recover quickly, and stayed focused, motivated, and tactful to achieve success.
Kereisia earned a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Technology, Jamaica in 2013 and a teaching Diploma from The Mico University College. She worked in and with several organizations to help the organization achieve its goals. I firmly believe that if leaders in organizations empower their employees to improve performance, choose the right strategy to fulfill objectives, and foster a customer-centered environment for their internal and external customers then they will achieve their goals and be more competitive in the marketplace to increase profitability.
